Another Moonshot and on to Jupiter

Tonight had scattered clouds, offering a bit of a view for the first 20 minutes or so of real darkness, at least in spots before finally getting too thick except pretty much over the moon. I decided to try my technique from last night and take some more moon photos. I have discovered that my biggest enemy is that I can’t hold the camera steady, but the fact that I’m not sure which settings to use is a close second. That said, here are my two best shots of the evening:

The Moon on 7/24/07
The Moon on 7/24/07

Jupiter, taken on 7/24/07
Jupiter, taken on 7/24/07 – 3 moons are visible

I also was able to view, I believe, M27. So that’s 3 down, 107 to go.
