The Moon on 9/19/07

I know I take a lot of pictures of the moon, but there’s a couple reasons for that. First of all, it’s easy to find in the night sky. Second, it’s continually changing. Most of all though, I think it’s just amazing to look at. I love to see how each day as the angle of light from the Sun changes the view of craters each day – some craters that were in stark relief yesterday have now faded as the sun hits them more directly while new craters seem to appear along the terminator. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
