The Moon on 3/11/08

Tonight is crisp and clear – despite the brightness of the moon, there’s really very little haze around it and seeing isn’t bad for the rest of the sky either. I’m probably not going to stay out too late tonight – I’m trying to learn how to do drift alignment. It should allow me to take much longer exposures with the DSLR without star trails. We’ll see how it goes…
