While the stars have been out in force for the past couple days (after several days of clouds), the wind has been so high that I couldn’t even get the scope out for visual observation. I was afraid it would be blown over despite it’s 75 pounds. While seeing wasn’t great, I got two Messier Objects tonight. The above M78 and the below M101. Seeing was bad enough that I couldn’t see either of them in the eyepiece so the camera had some difficulty picking them up. Regardless, it was fun to get the telescope out again.
