I also got this shot of M13 last night which I thought did a pretty good job of resolving the individual stars.

  1. Ed,
beautiful, did you use envisage or something else? I have trouble with my DSI, although new it is a hit or miss recognizing the cam. very frustrating. I also use k3ccd. it is erratic also. my old webcam never had that problem.

  2. Thanks – I captured using Envisage and then stacked in DeepSkyStacker. Just for future reference, if you click on my images, I normally put all the details of the image into flickr.

  3. Hi Ed,

I am the Education Specialist at Riverwoods Field Lab of the Center for Environmental Studies of Florida Atlantic University http://riverwoods.ces.fau.edu I am also a science teacher at Avon Park Middle School in Avon Park, Florida. I am developing several power point presentations on the night sky for the 2009 International Year of Astronomy. May I have your permission to use some of your astrophotos in these presentations? I will give you full credit. There will be no profit made from these presentations. I will also need to know your last name. Thank you.
