I’ve been experimenting with both drift alignment and some other imaging techniques lately. Last night, viewing was pretty bad (though I did manage to see Venus just before it set) but I thought it would be a good opportunity to try out some stuff. I got this image while testing out the alignment. Made up of 1 minute sub images, it captures more detail in the ring than my previous images of M57.
