I’m on Wired again!

Filed under: astronomy, Astrophotography — Tags: — Ed @ 10:57 am

I’ve been really sick for the past 2 weeks and finally was diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday, so I think I’m on the road to recovery. That’s pretty much why blogging has completely dropped off for a while. I did actually set up the scope on Halloween and show Jupiter and its moons to a bunch of kids and their parents.

And then today, while browsing wired, I noticed that one of my images I’d submitted to wired.com made the cut on the telescope photo competition. It’s the image I submitted of Orion, here. So hooray! I figured it merited a post since I’d asked folks to vote for my images a while ago. Thanks!

  1. I just looked through Wired, saw the article and wondered if you’d submitted to the contest. Then I tabbed through the photos and saw “submitted by Ed.” Cool.
To bad all the other Ed’s out there are gonna steal your thunder.
