Corn Moon on 9/4/09

I’ve finally gotten out with the scope again. We’ve had clouds, clouds and more clouds for weeks. Unfortunately, the full moon is out and so it’s hard to see anything but the Moon and Jupiter. That’s okay – I’m just glad to be looking at something…

  1. Nice photos! I connected my camera to my telescope (an old 114mm reflector) for the first time last weekend. It’s a lot of fun!

  2. Cool – my first telescope was a 114mm Tasco reflector – If you look far enough back (before 2008) on my blog here, you can find images I took with that way back when. Since I upgraded to my 8″ scope, I really haven’t used the old one… 🙂
