A Cold, But Fun Star Party

Filed under: Observation Journal — Ed @ 1:51 pm

Last night the Barnard Astronomical Society set up the annual star party at Camp Columbus for the Boy Scout camporee going on there. There were a good number of members with a lot of scopes there, but with the cold, most of the scouts didn’t want to leave their camp fires. Those that did brave the cold were rewarded with good views of Venus (just after sunset), Mars, M42 and eventually Saturn.
