The Moon on 6/20/10

Filed under: astronomy, Astrophotography, Moon, Observation Journal — Ed @ 11:50 pm

It’s late, but it’s probably (other than the heat/humidity, oh and this being nearly the shortest night of the year) the best night for viewing this year. We’ve had awful viewing weather all year, but tonight, it’s very, very clear and I just had to get out with the scope. It’s still (at 11:49) over 80°F out. Anyway, the Moon’s a nice big target in the sky and I couldn’t resist taking a photo.
